Claudia Voicu, Head Tennis Pro
Claudia is certified by the TPA (Tennis Professionals Association) as a Club Pro 2 with 11 years of experience. She moved to Canada from Romania at the age of 12 and played her competitive junior tennis in Toronto. Claudia was a top 10 ranked junior in Ontario through the early part of her tennis career and received a tennis scholarship to Olivet Nazarene University in Chicago, competing in the NAIA division. After she graduated with a communications and journalism degree, Claudia returned to Canada to pursue her passion of teaching tennis. Over the past 10 years she has been highly involved in a wide range of coaching, from young juniors to adults keen to learn the game. She is passionate about the game and making others fall in love with the sport that has given her so much.
Ben Rush, Assistant Pro
Ben is certified by the TPA (Tennis Professionals Association) with his level-one teaching certification and has six years of teaching experience. He has played tennis all his life, played in the provincial program at the cricket club, and is currently on the Queen's University tennis team. Ben is currently in his third year studying economics and health studies.
