Head Pro Positions - HOW TO APPLY

It is not necessary to have both on-court and off-court experience. We are looking to create a Racquet Leadership Team that together has strong off and on-court experience and works cooperatively with each other and the Racquet Directors to create a strong and welcoming SLYC Racquets Program.
Off-Court Experience:
An excellent off-court pro is:
Personable and welcoming to all members and guests.
Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, organized, and conscientious.
Skilled in responding to members’ questions, requests, and feedback.
Open to becoming adept at Court Reserve software.
Open to learning how to analyze and interpret data.
Open to feedback and willing to make modifications, as needed.
Please share your interest in off-court responsibilities. Please share any relevant experience you have had that demonstrates off-court skills. (It does not have to be racquets-related.)
On-Court Experience:
An excellent on-court pro is:
Personable, enthusiastic, prepared, reliable, and punctual.
Knowledgeable about tennis and/or pickleball technique and strategy.
Understanding and responsive to members’ different attitudes, preferences, and skill levels.
Skilled in designing and adjusting appropriate programming and drills.
Skilled in feeding with accuracy and appropriate speed.
Open to feedback and willing to make modifications, as needed.
