2017 SLYC Golf Tournament
Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 - Wildfire GolF
Support Junior Sailing at SLYC! All proceeds from our annual tournament go towards the Junior Sailing Program and specifically towards buying new sailboats. Since the tournament started 14 years ago, over $150,000 has been donated for this purpose!
Last year the tournament sold out and we are looking forward to another great day of golf, prizes, and Stony Lake camaraderie. Please "Save the Date" and sign up as soon as possible to ensure you have a spot.
The event will once again be at Wildfire Golf Club on the shores of Stony Lake. The entry fee of $120 ($70 for Wildfire members) covers golf, lunch, drinks, mulligans, putting strings, and prizes! This tournament is a lot of fun and you don't have to be a golfer to come out and enjoy the day with other Stony Lakers. The tournament is a "scramble" format meaning that for any group of 4 golfers, everybody takes a shot and after each shot you decide which of the 4 balls you want to play and then all 4 golfers hit from that ball's location.
Registration @ 10:30am
Warmup @ 11:00am

SPONSOR A HOLE
The entrance fee to play in the SLYC Tournament only covers the costs of putting the event on. You can support the SLYC by sponsoring a tee. For $400 we will post a sign advertising your business and/or thanking you for your support at one of the tees on the course. If you are sponsoring a hole through a business the expense will be deductible. If you are sponsoring a hole personally and would like a Charitable Donation Tax Receipt it can be done through Sail Canada. In addition to signage on the course the sponsors will be mentioned during the awards presentations and on the SLYC website.
- Sponsor a hole as a business
- Sponsor a hole personally (PLEASE ALSO email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your personal sponsorship.)
